The internship at Cenatus was a very interesting and helpful experience for me. Being fairly new to web development I learned a lot thanks to the great cooperation and support from the colleagues. Being able to work on the Netaudio London festival gave me the opportunity to extend my teamwork skills away from the computer work and allowed me to have an introduction to event management.
During my time at Cenatus I was always treated as an equal member of the company and my input was taken seriously. I can only recommend this internship for anybody looking for some first hand working experience in the web development industry.
Gregor Barth was working with Cenatus from April till August 2011 in the area of web development as well as helping with the preparation of the Netaudio festival.
Being interested in computers and ‘how they work’ he enrolled at the HTW in Berlin for International Media and Computer Sciences courses and opts for a bachelor degree. Programming tools for others to manipulate images, videos or sounds a vital part of his curriculum as well as creating complex software like games. Writing AI’s for games is a hobby of his. He also has small blog where one can read about his experiences and hurdles he had to take when learning how to program. There are even some articles about the things he does at Cenatus.
As part of his studies he will work with Cenatus as an internee to acquire practical knowledge in the field of web development as well as to seek new ways to fuse media programming and web programming.
